The Cancer is ruled by the planet, moon, and its zodiac element is water. The Cancer rules the fourth house of the 12 signs. Because of the color of the moon, the Cancer’s color is white and silver. He’s most vulnerable in his breast and his stomach. Often they are prone to stomach disorders and indigestion.
The zodiac element of water in Cancer is what makes him very emotional. He is sensitive and very spiritual. His emotions run deep and he is very vulnerable to the people around him, although he hides his vulnerability this doesn’t mean he is not hurting inside. And like the crab that he is, he’ll hide behind his shell until he feels safe enough to venture out and open up again. He needs to be mindful about his emotions because this can lead to pessimism. But take note, a Cancer is also a leader, and often they are forceful and demanding. Control is often an issue with a Cancer and they can be very adamant about this.
On the positive side Cancer can be very nurturing. They care for their family and friends to a fault. They are very loyal and they can make a good homemaker. Family and friends often seek their advice and comfort because the Cancer has a natural tendency to take care of those in need. Their traditional characteristic reflects in their desire for history and ancestry and this, he carries out by propagating the family and looks after relatives and preserves family traditions. He is most comfortable near the house at all times with family and friends. They are not ambitious and like the passive life.
The Cancer likes to keep mementos to remember him of the past. Including family heirlooms and photos or souvenirs of things shared with family. They are also very imaginative and creative and often find pleasure in cooking. Some people of the cancer sign often find success in becoming chefs. Cancerians loves to get involved in physical exercise but finds more contentment when involved in team sports. In relationships, a Cancerian is very devoted and thus expecting the same kind of devotion. He is caring and never shy away on romance. However, take note that a Cancerian also like to have his way and often resolves to tears or sulking when he doesn’t get what he wants. Control isa trait of a Cancerian and he knows how to use it to his best advantage. His best trait is his loyalty to his family and friends. He makes it a point to always look after their welfare. He is very sensitive to the difficulties they have and goes out of his way to help them. He is very family oriented and likes to be the one responsible for making the family stick together.
